Daily Guide Newspaper not credible – NDC

Members of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) have been directed not to patronize the pro-government newspaper Daily Guide owned by the acting National Chairman of New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr Freddie Blay because the newspaper is not credible .

“Henceforth, members of NDC should disregard publication in the Daily Guide regarding the Kwesi Botchwey report”, Deputy General Secretary of NDC in charge of operations gave the directive.

According to him, the leadership of NDC has picked information from sources that the paper plans to conjuncture falsehood in their subsequent editions aimed at causing divisions in NDC and also to divert the opposition’s attention from criticising the NPP government.

“We know their grand scheme is that they are going to publish their usual falsehood that will cause division in us and to divert attention from criticizing the governance”, Mr. Koku Anydoho revealed.

“So disregard those falsehoods and do not respond to any of them especially if it about you and Kwesi Botchewey report”, he spoke on Accra-based Ahotor FM.

“Personally, I do not buy or read Daily Guide publications because of their lies”, the outspoken Deputy General Secretary added.

According to him, the report which some media outlets claim to have copies still remains classified document of the party stating claims of it being a public document is a lie put out there by those media houses.

“Daily Guide and those media houses claiming to have copies of the Kwesi Botchwey report are lying to their readers and listeners”.

“They do not have any copy. ….they are only conjecturing. …We have not leaked any document to them”, Mr. Koku Anydoho, Deputy General of NDC insisted.
