Tema, Ghana – The Minister for Works and Housing, Hon. Kenneth Gilbert Adjei, has officially inaugurated the newly-appointed Board of Directors of TDC Ghana Ltd, urging them to uphold excellence, support national housing objectives, and provide effective oversight.
The inauguration ceremony saw the formal introduction of the seven-member board chaired by Hon. Isaac Ashai Odamtten, Member of Parliament for Tema East.

In his remarks, Hon. Adjei congratulated the board members on their appointments and expressed confidence in their capacity to provide strong leadership.
He also praised TDC Ghana Ltd for consistently ranking among the top five best-performing state enterprises in the country.
The Minister highlighted the urgent need for affordable and sustainable housing across Ghana and called on TDC to lead efforts in delivering modern housing solutions, while also partnering with the Ministry to champion critical policy reforms and facilitate access to state lands for development.
He tasked the new Board to collaborate closely with the Managing Director to address key issues, including the renewal of expired leases, and to provide strategic policy direction.
However, he cautioned the Board against interfering with the day-to-day operations of management.
“The Ministry expects TDC Ghana Ltd to align its operations with national housing policies and maintain the highest standards of accountability and transparency,” Hon. Adjei emphasized.
The new Board assumes its mandate at a time when housing development is central to government’s socioeconomic agenda, and expectations are high for TDC to expand its impact under this renewed leadership.
