The family of the late Hon. Alfred Kwame Agbesi regrets to announce the passing of their beloved son, former Member of Parliament for the Ashaiman Constituency and former Deputy Majority Leader of Ghana’s 6th Parliament.
Hon. Alfred Kwame Agbesi passed away in the early hours of Friday, 2nd May 2025, at the 37 Military Hospital after a short illness.
A seasoned lawyer and respected statesman, Hon. Agbesi served as the Member of Parliament for Ashaiman from 2005 to 2017 on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC). During his distinguished tenure, he served on several key parliamentary committees and rose to the position of Deputy Majority Leader.
He was widely admired across the political spectrum for his integrity, legal acumen, and unwavering commitment to public service.
