The Vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, visited Tamale on Wednesday to inspect the areas affected by Tuesday’s heavy rainfall in the metropolis and more importantly, commiserate with the families of those who lost their lives and properties in the disaster.
He pledged government’s support for the victims and charged the local authorities to remove any structures constructed in waterways.
