Popular Ghanaian dancehall artist, Shatta Wale, has once again set social media ablaze with his outspoken views—this time applauding former President John Dramani Mahama for his role in reducing the cost of passports in Ghana.

On his  Facebook page, the self-proclaimed ‘Dancehall King’ passionately addressed his fans, expressing his excitement over the new passport price reduction. “Ah, my people, you see now?

They had been scamming us in this country! Mahama is the only one who has seen the struggle of the youth!” he declared, waving his Ghanaian passport in the air.

Shatta Wale, known for his blunt takes on political and social issues, did not hold back in calling out the previous high passport fees. “We dey hustle, we dey suffer, and them dey charge we like we be buying visa for heaven! Now, Mahama has shown that things can be done the right way,” he added.

His statement quickly sparked reactions across social media, with some fans hailing him as a voice for the people while others questioned his sudden political praise. Some netizens even joked that Shatta Wale might soon be appointed as an ambassador for youth affairs.
