Sammy Gyamfi, the acting Managing Director of the Precious Minerals Marketing Company (PMMC), has made a bold statement ahead of the 2025 Budget Statement and Economic Policy presentation to Parliament.
He emphasized that Ghanaians will soon realize that not all politicians are created equal, highlighting the importance of integrity and respect for the social contract between leaders and citizens.
Gyamfi expressed confidence that the 2025 budget, which will focus on economic growth, job creation, and alleviating hardships, will demonstrate the government’s commitment to the people.
He noted that some politicians prioritize power over the well-being of their citizens, while others, like former President John Dramani Mahama, have consistently shown respect for their social contract.
The 2025 budget is expected to provide much-needed relief to Ghanaians, with a focus on empowering the youth, stimulating business growth, and creating opportunities for all citizens.
Gyamfi reassured the public that the budget will not introduce harsh or excessive taxes, unlike the previous administration’s approach.
With the budget presentation just hours away, Gyamfi’s statements have generated significant interest and anticipation. As the government prepares to unveil its economic plans, Ghanaians will be watching closely to see if the 2025 budget will indeed deliver on its promises.
