
President John Dramani Mahama has officially launched the 2025 National Economic Dialogue at the Accra International Conference Center. In his keynote address, he emphasized Ghana’s progress in seeking solution-driven remedies to address the country’s economic struggles.
Mahama stressed the importance of tangible indicators that benefit ordinary citizens, ensuring they feel the positive impact of economic recovery.
The president acknowledged that Ghana is making progress toward full economic recovery, with plans to reset and restore confidence in the economy. He promised the adoption of new strategies to sustain policy direction and tackle macroeconomic challenges.
Mahama attributed the country’s economic challenges to weak leadership from the previous government, pledging that his administration will provide bold solutions to address wasteful expenditures and promote economic growth.

The National Economic Dialogue aims to bring together stakeholders from various sectors to discuss strategies for economic recovery and sustainable growth.
