The President of the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA), Bessa Simons, announced today on Ahotor Mmre that one of the union’s greatest achievements is the establishment of offices across all regions of Ghana.
This historic milestone, he emphasized, will provide musicians with easier access to MUSIGA’s leadership and resources.
Speaking with Obaapa Janee on Ahotor mmre, Bessa Simons highlighted that the expansion is a game-changer for artists nationwide.
“For years, musicians outside the capital have struggled to engage with MUSIGA due to distance and accessibility issues. Now, with regional offices, we are bringing the union closer to the people,” he stated.
The move is expected to enhance the welfare of musicians, offering them support in areas such as contracts, royalties, and career development.
“MUSIGA exists to protect and promote the interests of its members. With these offices, we can better serve musicians at all levels and ensure that no one is left behind,” he added.
As Ghana’s music scene continues to evolve, this initiative positions MUSIGA as a stronger force in championing the rights and success of its members.
With easy access to leadership and resources, the future looks brighter for musicians across the nation.
