Alexander Isak has been crowned the Premier League’s Player of the month of December following an outstanding performance for Newcastle, where he scored eight goals and provided two assists in six Premier League matches.
The striker finished December as the Premier League’s top scorer, finding the back of the net in every game including a hattrick against Ipswich Town, helping Newcastle to four wins, a draw, and just one loss, as they push for a top-four finish.
The 25-year-old beat his teammate Jacob Murphy, who was also nominated, along with Liverpool’s Trent Alexander-Arnold and Mohamed Salah, Nottingham Forest’s Morgan Gibbs-White, Bournemouth’s Dean Huijsen, Chelsea’s Cole Palmer, and Fulham’s Antonee Robinson to claim the award.
