The Member of Parliament-elect for Tema West, Lawyer James Enu, hosted a grand victory celebration party to express his heartfelt gratitude to the constituents for their overwhelming support in this year’s general election.
The event, which brought together residents, party executives, and supporters, was a moment of unity and joy for the Tema West constituency.
Speaking at the celebration, Lawyer Enu attributed his resounding victory to the collective efforts of his family, friends, constituency executives, and the leadership of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) at both regional and national levels.
He emphasized that the unprecedented margin of victory was a testament to the hard work and determination of the NDC to win back Tema West.
“This is not just a victory; it is a defining moment for Tema West,” he declared. “For 32 years, we have been hungry for this day. The NDC’s last win here in 1992 came under unusual circumstances, as the opposition NPP boycotted the election.
But today, we have proven that with commitment and teamwork, Tema West can be a stronghold for the NDC.”
Lawyer Enu also highlighted that even some traditional NDC strongholds did not deliver such an overwhelming victory for the party as Tema West did in this election.
He expressed his profound pride in the constituency’s performance and vowed to work tirelessly to ensure the development of Tema West and the fulfillment of campaign promises.
The event was marked by cultural performances, speeches from party stalwarts, and a communal dinner, symbolizing the unity and renewed hope in Tema West under the leadership of Lawyer James Enu.
