The Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council (GPCC) has expressed its unwavering support for President-elect John Dramani Mahama, pledging to stand by his leadership to ensure Ghana’s development.
The Council also assured him of continued prayers and spiritual guidance throughout his presidency.
Led by its Chairman, Apostle Eric Nyamekye, the GPCC paid a courtesy call on the President-elect to congratulate him on his resounding victory in the recent elections.
During the visit, the Council reaffirmed its commitment to partnering with the new administration to promote the nation’s progress.
Acknowledgment of Mahama’s Victory
Speaking on behalf of the delegation, Apostle Eric Nyamekye lauded John Mahama and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for their decisive electoral win.
“We are here to congratulate you for the decisive victory that you achieved together with the NDC. You have done very well, and we want to say congratulations to you, Sir, for this remarkable success,” Apostle Nyamekye stated.
God’s Favor and Guidance
Apostle Nyamekye emphasized the Council’s belief in divine providence, declaring that the God who selected John Mahama to lead Ghana will strengthen and empower him for the task ahead.
“The God who chose you for Ghanaians will make you mighty and guide you as you lead the nation,” he affirmed.
Commitment to Collaboration and Prayer
The GPCC assured the President-elect of its readiness to offer spiritual and practical support to his presidency.
Apostle Nyamekye highlighted the Council’s willingness to maintain regular engagement with the government to contribute ideas and solutions for Ghana’s development.
“We will make ourselves available, visiting you from time to time, and whenever we are invited, we promise to be here. Together, we can discuss and strategize on how to advance the development of this nation,” he said.
The Chairman also reiterated the Council’s commitment to praying for John Mahama’s success and for the peace and prosperity of the country.
“The Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council will continue to pray for you and make ourselves available to support your presidency,” Apostle Nyamekye assured.
