In the wake of Ghana’s 2024 general elections, gospel artist and outspoken supporter of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Diana Asamoah, has turned to her platform to console the party faithful.Known for her inspirational music and deep faith, Asamoah addressed supporters who might be grappling with the outcomes of the fiercely contested elections.
Speaking during a live-streamed session on social media, she said, “This is not the time to despair. God has a plan for this nation, and everything happens for a reason. Put your trust in Him because He is in control.”
Her message came as the NPP faced mixed reactions from its supporters following the election results, which saw the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) making significant gains in parliamentary seats and a narrow victory in the presidential race.
