TOTAL Ghana’s Finance and Accounts Manager has been adjudged the Chief Financial Officer of the year at the 2nd edition of CFO awards held at Movenpick in Accra.
Kwin Foumba Rose Spse Nkada Zogo was adjudged the best in the Energy, Oil and Gas category.
The oil marketing firm’s Finance team also won the Best Finance team of the year (Bronze Category) at a ceremony graced by the Deputy Minister of Finance Mona Quartey.
Expressing her excitement upon receiving the awards, Madam Rose Nkada said, “this award serves as an encouragement in particular to the Finance team as a whole.”
“This will help us forge ahead in rendering high-level work and to Total Petroleum Ghana Limited in general. It is a delight to know that the individual and collective efforts we put in daily are recognized,” she added.
A statement from the TOTAL said, “With over 28 years of experience and expertise working in the TOTAL group through France, Cameroon, Gabon, Congo and the Central African Republic, Madam Nkada has spurred her finance team on to attain excellence in running the affairs of the company.
It added that her efforts have ultimately contributed to the progress and strong presence of the company in Ghana.
TOTAL also underscored its commitment towards giving strong career advancement opportunities to women.
“The national recognition of our Finance and Accounts Manager is another feather in the cap of Total Ghana’s women empowerment initiative”, the statement added.
TOTAL was also recently adjudged 4th best company at the Ghana Club 100 awards for the year 2015, the Oil Marketing Company of the year in the Ghana Oil and Gas Awards (GOGA) and the Lubricant of the year award with their Total Quartz 9000.
