The National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Krowor once again demonstrated its political strength and commitment to community engagement by organizing a massive health walk yesterday.
The event, aimed at rallying support for the party ahead of the December elections, drew an impressive crowd of thousands of party sympathizers and residents.
The vibrant procession wound its way through the principal streets of the constituency, creating a sea of red, green, and white that reflected the party’s colors.
Participants carried banners, chanted slogans, and danced to party tunes as they moved through the community.
The walk culminated in a grand gathering at the iconic Nungua Landing Beach, where party leaders addressed the enthusiastic crowd.
Hon. Agnes Naa Momo Lartey, the Member of Parliament for Krowor and the NDC’s parliamentary candidate for the upcoming elections, took center stage to deliver an inspiring speech.
She commended the participants for their overwhelming turnout and unwavering support, emphasizing that such unity and commitment were crucial for the party’s victory in December.

Hon. Hon. Agness Naa Momo Lartey also highlighted the importance of solidarity within the party, urging members to work together harmoniously and avoid internal divisions.
She called on the rank and file to refrain from engaging in the practice of “skirt and blouse” voting—a term used to describe a split-ticket voting pattern where party members support the presidential candidate but vote against their parliamentary candidate.
She stressed that a unified front was essential to ensuring the party’s success at both the parliamentary and presidential levels.
The event also served as a platform to promote community health and fitness, underscoring the NDC’s commitment to the well-being of the people. It was not only a political rally but also a celebration of unity and shared purpose, as residents from all walks of life came together to show their allegiance to the party.
