Former President John Dramani Mahama, the Presidential Candidate for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has called for the removal of the current New Patriotic Party (NPP) government, accusing it of incompetence.
He urged the Ghanaian electorate to vote out the NPP in the upcoming December 7th elections and promised that the NDC, under his leadership, would provide honest and effective governance.
In a post on Facebook, Mr Mahama stated, “The time has come to remove this incompetent NPP government. We will bring honest leadership back to Ghana. Vote for change on December 7th.”
He stressed the pressing issues facing the nation under the NPP, including high unemployment, jobless growth, escalating business costs, low wages, and rising poverty and inequality.
Mr Mahama argued that these challenges had caused significant hardship for Ghanaians and vowed that the NDC would work to “reset” the country, restoring hope and progress.
He positioned the NDC as the party that would bring about the necessary reforms to address these issues and ensure a brighter future for all.
