Asante Kotoko returned to winning ways with a crucial away win over Aduana Stars in Dormaa on match day 12 of the 2024/2025 Ghana premer league season.
The visitors broke the deadlock in the 10th minute, left back Patrick Asiedu drilled in a shot from a dead ball situation. With Aduana struggling to contain Justice Blay and Ntim Manu in midfield Kotoko asserted their dominance by taking control over the game.
Back from recess, Asante Kotoko goal monger Albert Amoah was first to react after the draw came across the face of goal. Coach Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum relinquished possession by protecting the two goal lead with solid defensive play.
The win leaves Kotko 7th with 18 points on the league log. They face Accra Hearts of Oak on match day 13.
