Ghanaian midfielder Thomas Partey climbed off the bench to score against Nottingham Forest in the English Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
For some strange reasons Manager relegated Partey to the bench despite his unavailability during the international break. Winger Bukayo Saka broke the deadlock in the first half with a curler but a surge in performance from the away side put shivers down the spine.
Back from recess, Jorginho was replaced by Partey. The Ghanaian announced his presence in some style with a trade mark shot on the edge of the box. Youngster Ethan Nwanieri capped off a solid win for the home side with the third goal ending a four game winless run. The win leaves Arsenal 4th on the table with 22 points.
Thomas Partey has now scored two goals in 12 games in the 2023/2024 premier league season.
