You Are Old, Grow Up – Tornado Fires the Nation’s Prophet

Ghanaian social media personality Odii Tornado has taken aim at the controversial man of God, Opambour, following a heated exchange with media figure Okatakyie Afrifa.

Initially, it appeared that Tornado was aligning himself with Opambour after the fiery shots directed at Afrifa, but that interpretation was far from accurate. In a self-recorded video that has since gone viral, Tornado did not hold back his criticism of the well-known preacher.

He expressed that many Ghanaians are increasingly fed up with Opambour’s antics and behavior, stating that it is about time the man of God reevaluated his actions. Tornado emphasized that it makes little sense for someone in Opambour’s position—not to mention his age—to consistently draw attention for negative reasons, particularly through acts that involve cursing others.

Tornado’s remarks highlighted what he perceives as a troubling trend among some religious figures who frequently engage in public disputes and controversies instead of focusing on the positive aspects of their ministries.

He underscored the importance of leading by example, especially for someone who holds a position of influence like Opambour.

Tornado urged the aging pastor to “grow up” and adopt a more mature approach to his interactions with others, rather than perpetuating conflicts.
