Ghanaian upcoming gospel singer, Mr. Rockson, shared an inspiring story about how his journey with the Ghana Musicians Union (MUSIGA) transformed his music career.
During an interview on Ahotor mmre with Obaapa Janee, he revealed that joining MUSIGA was a turning point in his artistic journey. “It was through my membership with MUSIGA that I connected with my producer,” Kings Tone Studio Production, he stated.
According to him, the union provided a platform for networking and access to industry professionals, which ultimately led to the discovery of his unique talent by his now-trusted producer.
Mr. Rockson who was there to promote his new album ”hyira me”(God bless Me) encouraged fellow musicians to consider joining MUSIGA, emphasizing the opportunities and support it offers to upcoming artists. “The union isn’t just about paying dues; it’s a hub for collaboration and growth,” he added.
Obaapa Janee commended him for his journey and urged other musicians listening to take advantage of such platforms to advance their careers.
