Ghanaian actor Kalybos recently opened up about his decision to marry his current wife during an appearance on the Girls Aloud Podcast, addressing the criticism he has faced.
Kalybos explained that he chose to marry her while he was abroad and financially secure. He emphasized that a long-term relationship does not obligate a man to marry a woman.
He also reflected on a past relationship with Frimpomaa, a girlfriend he dated for quite some time, noting that she did not fit the criteria for the type of partner he ultimately wanted to marry.
When questioned about leaving Frimpomaa after years together, Kalybos reiterated his belief that being in a relationship for an extended period does not mean one must marry just for the sake of it. “Just because you’ve been together for a long time doesn’t mean you have to settle down with that person, no matter what,” he stated.
