Former President John Dramani Mahama, the presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has made a passionate appeal to Ghanaians, urging them to vote for change in the upcoming 2024 elections.
He expressed strong criticism of the current New Patriotic Party (NPP) government, accusing them of failing to manage the country effectively.
Addressing a crowd at a rally in Bodi as part of his #Mahama4Change2024 tour, Mr. Mahama compared the NPP’s performance to an examination, saying that if they were graded, they would receive an “F9” for their governance.
He stated that the NPP government had not fulfilled its promises, leaving many who voted for them disillusioned and regretful.
John Mahama urged these voters, along with all Ghanaians, to consider supporting the NDC in the next election, arguing that not all political parties are the same.
He emphasized that while some parties might rely on deceptive promises, the NDC stands for honesty and accountability.
With confidence, he assured the crowd that the NDC would not promise what it cannot deliver.
Mr. Mahama pledged that under his leadership, the NDC would work to restore trust, bring positive change, and address the pressing issues facing the nation.
