John Mahama Pledges Cocoa Factories and Job Creation for Cocoa-Growing Communities – (AUDIO)

John Dramani Mahama, Presidential Candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has pledged to establish cocoa processing factories in all cocoa-growing areas to stimulate local economies and boost production.

Addressing residents of Aowin Constituency during his Western Regional tour, John Mahama emphasized that these factories would create job opportunities, particularly for young people in these communities, reducing rural unemployment and driving economic growth.

He assured the crowd that a new NDC government would prioritize job creation and community empowerment, focusing on sustainable development in agricultural regions.

In addition to the factories, he promised to reinstate free fertilizers and essential farming inputs for cocoa farmers—support that had previously been provided under the NDC but discontinued by the current government.

This move, he explained, would help farmers improve yields and increase profitability.

John Mahama confidently noted growing public support, saying that all signs point to an NDC victory in the December elections.

He promised that, if elected, the NDC would bring significant development to Aowin Constituency and cocoa-growing communities across Ghana.
