Gomoa Central Member of Parliament (MP) Naana Eyiah Quansah has cautioned Independent Candidate, Kwame Obeng Asare, popularly known as A Plus, against any acts of intimidation ahead of the December 7 election.
Naana Eyiah, who is seeking re-election on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has vowed that she will never feel intimidated by anyone.
In an interview with the media, the two-time MP noted that she is a peaceful and quiet person. However, within her meekness is also a strong nature that many people may not be aware of, and she will not become a pushover.
“I will never feel intimidated because I’m a strong woman. I don’t speak much, so people may want to take that for granted. I will not fight, but nobody can intimidate me. They can go ahead and do whatever they want, but I will never respond. But I want A Plus,” she stated.
Naana Eyiah further accused A Plus of moving around the constituency with weapon-wielding men she described as landguards.
“He has never gone anywhere with less than six people, always three or four cars. They are masked, and you will even find some people in military and police uniforms,” she claimed.
