National Democratic Congress (NDC) Presidential Candidate John Dramani Mahama has criticized Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia for failing to fulfill his promise of building an airport and port in Cape Coast, calling these unfulfilled pledges a sign of untrustworthiness.
Addressing supporters in the Cape Coast South Constituency during his Central Regional tour, Mr. Mahama urged Ghanaians to vote for a trustworthy leader, emphasizing that Ghana needs someone who can deliver on promises, not someone who relies on empty words to gain votes.
Confident in the NDC’s plans, he expressed optimism that his party would win the December 7th election and implement policies to address critical issues, particularly youth employment.
John Mahama warned that electing Dr. Bawumia would effectively grant President Akufo-Addo a third term, claiming that such continuity could lead to further hardship for Ghanaians.
He advised voters to view the upcoming election as a “second independence” — a chance to free the nation from the challenges faced under the current administration.
Highlighting the NDC’s commitment to equitable development, Mr. Mahama assured that his party has comprehensive plans to support every Ghanaian, bringing renewed hope and progress.
He called on the people to entrust the NDC with the opportunity to reset the nation’s course and deliver on their promises for the country’s future.
