The Golden State Warriors needed overtime to hold off the Rockets by 127-121 in Houston, boosting their winning record this season. They have beaten the Rockets 14 straight times, including eight straight in Houston.
It was a tale of two halves for the Warriors, shooting 60 per cent from the field in the first half and just 36 per cent in the second half. They made eight 3-pointers in the first quarter and just four triples in the entire second half.
The Warriors also relied on Draymond Green fouling out late in the fourth quarter and Brandin Podziemski in overtime to win the game in Houston.
The Warriors started the season with a Stellar performance winning their first games but were hit with their star man getting injured they dusted off and began to show up with an impressive performance by the Houston Rockets.
