The head coach of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Dr Prosper Nartey Ogum, has expressed that his players are very fatigued after playing three matches in a week, which caused their defeat at Obuasi against Hearts of Lions.
Nartey believes the team’s energy level, purposefulness and concentration level were low and that gave the opponent a lot of time on the ball and they got punished for that.
Ogum lamented that they weren’t the team they were known for, as they were always aggressive, but that physics was not seen in the game due to the team’s stress.
Kotoko lost by a lone goal to Hearts of Lions in the Len clay sports stadium in Obuasi and is currently 3rd on the league table with 15 points after 9 league games.
