Three outstanding players in the Ghana Premier League have been nominated for the NASCO Player of the Month award for October.
Asante Kotoko’s attacker Albert Amoah, Nations FC’s new talent Faisal Chartewey, and Bibiani Gold Stars’ able center back Kelvin Oppong are all in contention for the prestigious award.
Albert Amoah has been a key cog for Asante Kotoko SC, finding the back of the net four times in just five matches. As joint top scorer in the Premier League with one NASCO Player of the Match award to his name. Amoah is a worthy candidate for the award.
Faisal Charwetey has made immediate impact with three goals in four matches. His performance includes a brace against Vision FC. He has one Man of the Match award to his name. Chartewey’s contributions have been instrumental for Nations FC who are 2nd on the league table.
Kelvin Oppong has shone as a dependable defender for Bibiani Gold Stars FC, a club currently sitting at the top of the league standings. Oppong has scored twice in four matches and secured one Man of the Match award, demonstrating his knack for making crucial contributions both defensively and offensively.
The winner of the NASCO Player of the Month award will be rewarded with a sleek 43-inch NASCO Television, generously provided by Electroland Ghana Limited.
