Governance Analyst and former parliamentary candidate aspirant for the Ayawaso Central constituency of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Abdul Razak Yakubu, has expressed his confidence in former president and NDC flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama, to rescue Ghana from the challenges created by the current administration.
Yakubu stated that Mahama has proven his leadership capability before, pointing to the achievements and initiatives implemented during his previous tenure as evidence of his commitment to Ghana’s development. He remarked, “John Mahama’s track record speaks for itself. He has demonstrated what true leadership looks like, and I believe he is the best person to steer the nation back on course.”
Speaking at a recent governance forum held at the GNAT Hall in the Greater Accra region, Yakubu addressed the audience with a passionate appeal for support for Mahama and the NDC in the upcoming elections.
He criticized the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) administration, led by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, arguing that their governance has left the country’s foundation weakened. According to Yakubu, the economic hardship and instability of recent years demand a leader with the experience and vision to restore the nation’s stability and prosperity.
“John Mahama is prepared and eager to tackle the economic and social issues facing us. His experience in governance makes him well-equipped to rebuild the economy and put Ghana back on track,” Yakubu emphasized. He urged Ghanaians to reflect on the difficulties of the past eight years and consider voting for change in the next election, trusting in Mahama’s capacity to deliver the effective governance that the nation deserves.
Concluding his remarks, Yakubu reiterated his belief in Mahama’s ability to lead Ghana towards a brighter future, encouraging the public to support the former president’s bid to return to power and make a lasting positive impact on the nation.
