Ghana’s Black Galaxies come face to face with regional rivals Nigeria on Sunday in Accra in what looks to be a stern revenge for the Nigeria local side.
Black Galaxies won 2-0 against Nigeria to qualify for the 2022 CHAN tournament in Algeria in the last play offs with goals coming from Daniel Afriyie Barnieh and Suraj Seidu.
Coach of the side, Didi Dramani has been speak acknowledging that Nigeria is a powerhouse and that he is approaching with all seriousness.
“We are playing against one of the best countries in terms of football in Africa and Ghana is equally a very quality side when it comes to African football. The chances are very bright and that is what we are doing,” he said.
“We are working on trying to put together a team, building the process and being able to have the cohesion and the fluidity of the way we want to play.” he added.
“When we bring in the effort and the energy and our adaption in terms of our tactical element we should be able to sail through ” he added.
“We’ll be ready for Nigeria clash on Sunday”, he concluded.
The Black Galaxies, under the guidance of coach Didi Dramani, have been engaged in intense training sessions at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram over the past few weeks.
In Didi’s final prep game, Galaxies secured a convincing 2-0 victory over Togo, demonstrating their readiness for the upcoming hurdle.
The return leg is scheduled on December 28, 2024 in Nigeria.
