2024-25 GPL – Aduana Stars Draw 1-1 With Kpando Hearts Of Lions

Aduana Stars began their 2024-25 Ghana Premier League campaign with a 1-1 draw against Kpando Hearts of Lions at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park on matchday one.

Kpando Hearts of Lions took lead through Mustapha Yakubu in the 81st minutes of the second half through a well-placed effort from their forward, However, the home team , Aduana Stars showed resilience, equalizing in the injury time through Emmanuel Marfo on a swift counterattack.

Despite Aduana Stars dominating possession and creating more chances, they couldn’t break through the Lions’ solid defense again, leaving both sides to share the spoils.

This result sets a competitive tone for the season, with both teams hoping to build momentum in the coming fixtures.
