18 players in Black Stars camp ahead of Japan and South Korea friendlies

Eighteen players are currently in camp at the Ana Crowne Plaza Hotel in Nagoya, preparing for Ghana’s international friendly against Japan on Friday, November 14, 2025.

 

The squad features a mix of experienced and new faces, including Joseph Anang, Lawrence Ati-Zigi, Derrick Kohn, and Jerome Opoku.

Goalkeepers: Joseph Anang, Lawrence Ati-Zigi

Defenders: Derrick Kohn, Jerome Opoku, Ebenezer Annan, Jonas Adjetey, Kojo Oppong Peprah, Caleb Yirenkyi, Alidu Seidu, Gideon Mensah

Midfielders: Abu Francis, Kwasi Sibo, Kamal Deen Sulemana

Forwards: Antoine Semenyo, Brandon Thomas-Asante, Prince Owusu, Kelvin Nkrumah, Prince Adu Kwabena

 

Hearts of Oak goalkeeper Benjamin Asare is set to join the squad on Wednesday, along with Christopher Bonsu Baah, Prince Osei Owusu, and Mohammed Salisu.

 

 

The Black Stars will conduct their first training session in Nagoya on Wednesday, November 12, ahead of the Kirin Cup fixture against Japan.
