IThe NDC Youth Wing, “Railways Ward” in Tema-West, has thrown its weight behind Mrs. Editor Wilson for the position of Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), urging President Mahama to consider her for the role.
According to Mrs. Priscilla Amanfo Fordjour, the group’s treasurer, Mrs. Wilson has been making waves in Tema-West with her impressive contributions to the community.
Her notable achievements include *Supplying Water* to those in need, *Supporting Local Businesses* owned by both young and old, *Providing Skill Training* for youth, and *Paying School Fees* for underprivileged students. These selfless acts have endeared her to the community, making her the ideal candidate for the MCE position in the eyes of the NDC Youth Wing.
This endorsement comes at a time when the NDC is taking steps to address concerns over the selection of MCE nominees. In a related development, the Democratic Concerned Youths of Tema West have petitioned the National Chairman of the NDC over the exclusion of Romeo Elikplim Akahoho from the shortlist of nominees for the MCE position.
t’s worth noting that the NDC has issued a warning to its members, prohibiting campaigns for DCE and MCE positions until further notice. Despite this, the NDC Youth Wing’s endorsement of Mrs. Wilson highlights her popularity and the impact of her community work in Tema-West.
