President John Dramani Mahama Visits The Gambia and Senegal to Foster Regional Relations

Banjul, Gambia – His Excellency President John Dramani Mahama has arrived in Banjul, The Gambia, as part of a two-country tour that also includes Senegal.

The visit serves as an opportunity to express gratitude to the Heads of State of these nations for their participation in his Presidential inauguration ceremony on January 7.

President Mahama’s visit underscores his dedication to fostering strong diplomatic ties and promoting regional cooperation among Ghana’s West African neighbors.

By engaging directly with the leadership of The Gambia and Senegal, the President reaffirms Ghana’s commitment to collaboration on mutual goals, including economic development, security, and regional stability.

Following his engagements in The Gambia, President Mahama will travel to Dakar, Senegal, where he is expected to hold high-level discussions with Senegalese officials.

The President is scheduled to return to Ghana later today from Dakar, marking the conclusion of a visit that highlights the importance of maintaining strong and cooperative relations.
