PL Round Up: Jota Salvage a point for Liverpool, Arsenal Stumble to Everton as Newcastle Thrash Leicester

Liverpool’s Premier League title race suffered a setback as they drew 2-2 against Fulham and had Andy Robertson sent off on Saturday.

Arne Slot side were at the losing end just fifteen minutes to full time, Diogo Jota struck late to earn a point for 10-man Liverpool in a 2-2 draw against Fulham.

Elsewhere at the Emirates, Mikel Arteta’s side were held to a frustrating 0-0 draw against Everton raising a huge doubt for the 2024/2025 title.

Arsenal dominated for a large part of the game registering 13 shots and 75 percent possession but the Everton’s well organized defence, particularly Jarrad Branthwaite and Vitalii Mykolenko – assisted by an excellent save from Jordan Pickford from Bukayo Saka – kept their clean sheet intact.

Newcastle trounced Leicester City 4-0 as Ruud van Nistelrooy suffered his first defeat. Eddie Howe side were just unstoppable on the day and Wolverhampton Wanderers lost 2-1 at home to Ipswich Town in fine margins.

A hugely impressive performance at the end saw Nottingham Forest produced remarkable comeback to beat Aston Villa 2-1.
