Who Will Quench Our Thirst? – Ampabame Residents

The people of Ampabame in Atwima Kwanwoma District of the Ashanti Region are appealing for immediate intervention from the government, as their faced with inadequate drinking water and feeble toilet facilities.

Speaking on the Ahotor fm midday news dubbed “supreme court news” the Assemblyman for the area, Hon. Micheal Ababio explained that his community is encountering numerous problems. Especially their toilet facility and inadequate water supply which has created tension in the community. He added that Nana Nketiah Brempong, the chief of the community has made many effort to erect toilet facility and drill bore hole but due to lack of fund the projects is in limbo.

He lamented that, the residence always join long queue to draw water which delays their activities so are pleasing for help. He said.
