Two killed in a clash between locals and Fulani at Jeduako.

Information reaching ahotoronline.com indicates that there was a clash between Jeduako community members and some Nomadic Fulani Herdsmen, who were moving from Agogo through Nsuta area towards Ejura on Thursday 25th January, 2018.

 

This clash led to the shooting of local members and one injured. The police proceeded to the locations and found the bodies of Kofi Owusu aged 60 years and Kwaku Aniboye aged 72 years with various gunshot wounds on their bodies. An empty AK 47 rifle was found close to the bodies.

 

Information gathered indicates that on Wednesday the Jeduako community members attacked some of the nomadic Fulani herdsmen and killed about 7 castles. The fulanis retaliated by shooting three of them leading to the death of the above two and the other person treated and discharged at the village’s health centre.

 

Bodies of the deceased deposited at the Mampong Government Hospital mortuary for preservation and autopsy

 

All the Suspected nomadic fulanis now at large.

 

Speaking to the District police, we are reliably informed that efforts are underway to arrest the culprits to assist investigation
