The President is in a hurry for development but with Caution- Sissala East MP

“The governance system of the current NPP government shows that the President, H.E Nana Akufo Addo is in a hurry for development but with great caution”

These were the statement of the Member of Parliament for Sissala East, Hon. Abass Ridwan Dauda in a studio discussion on Ahotor FM’s Morning show, hosted by Emmanuel Quarshie. (Hit man)

According to Hon. Abass, claims made by the opposition NDC that the development of the country is lacking or at a slow state are highly false.

He further stated that, the NPP party’s flagship program one- district, one -factory will be implemented as stated in their 2016 election manifestos.

“Projects initiated by the past administration especially SADA was a good thing just that the implementation went bad”

“We as a government have learnt from these mistakes and will take time to establish these factories”

“We will consider the raw materials available, nearness to market, good roads before any factory is set up in any community”

“We will not set up a factory that will have an expenditure that will exceed the income made”

“The government has an interest of reducing the unemployment rate among the youth and we will do exactly that”, He stated.

Hon. Abass further stated that although the government is in a hurry to satisfy the developmental needs of the country, it will be done with great caution.
