Story on FREE SHS – Nana Ayimedu Brempong III

On the 10th of September 2017, around 1 PM, Nana Ayimedu Brempong -III, Krontihene of Adjena Tafoman met with his elders and people when the were observing (the) Akwasidae.
In his speech to his people, he advised parents and the general public to embrace the Free education. He stated that several factors go into the performance of the students.
Government have the responsibility of providing logistics and infrastructure on the schools while parents and  teachers assist in ensuring that students study to provide positive results.
He appealed to teachers to improve on standards of education in the country.
He said teachers motivation is a key and appealed to the government, parents and traditional authorities to assist in ensuring a holistic approach to quality education.
Nana Ayimedu Brempong – III appealed to the government to assist in putting the girls dormitory in a better shape and provide a good place for library of Adjena Secondary Technical School.
He urged well meaning citizens of Adjena and its environs as well as philanthropist to support schools in the community.
Nana Brempong, the anti-human trafficking campaigner did not miss words in educating the community on dangers associated with human trafficking.
He indicated that Ghana has been on the tier 2 watch list for the past 3 years and that efforts must be made to scale down the current status since it affect the country’s cooperate image negatively.
Parents who sell out their children in the name of poverty should take advantage of the FREE SHS.
Adjena SHS had 91% pass as against 86% on the previous years amidst challenge in infrastructure and staff member.
