OPASS students struck by thunder

Students of the Ofori Panyin Senior High School in the Eastern region were struck by thunder on Sunday evening killing one in the process.

Another student is reportedly injured by the strike and has been hospitalized at Kukurantumi Community Hospital while the body of the deceased deposited same.

Details about the incident and the deceased are not immediately known as Management of the School are tight lipped.

However information gathered indicates that, the deceased and the injured were part of students who were on their way to fellowship in the School.

Most parts of the Eastern region experienced rainstorm amidst lightening Sunday evening around 5:PM.
