Ofosu Ampofo Confer with Pentecost Chairman Eric Nyamekye & General Secretary Nana Yaw Kumi – Larbi

The National Chairman for the National Democratic Congress ( NDC) Hon. Samuel Ofosu Ampofo has paid a courtesy call on the Chairman of the Church of Pentecost Apostle Eric Nyamekye, and the General Secretary Apostle Alexander Nana Yaw Kumi – Larbi at the General Headquarters in Accra to confer with the duo and usher himself to God in appreciation on the wake of going through a very challenging and demanding Congress of the party.

The elected National National Chairman until his election to the highest office of the party performed similar ritual when he fellowshipped with the church, and called on the Chairman of the Church to seek God blessings and protection ahead of the Congress by the party which took place on the 17th November, 2018 at Trade Fair LA – Accra.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ampofo was accompanied by Hon. George Kuntu Blankson , Hon. Mavis Ama Frimpong, Close acquaintances, NDC sympathizers, loved ones including the press were in attendance to grant the event media coverage. Other dignitaries present were the Constituency Chairman for Krowor constituency, some members of VOA, party executives from some constituencies as well as loads of well wishers from far and near participated in the brief event to solidarize with the NDC National Chairman as he thank God for seeing him and the entire party through a successful National Delegates Conference respectively.

The presence of the National Chairman at the headquarters of the church was in fulfilment towards offering Thanksgiving to God and the entire church for wishing him well on the occasion of his election as the National Chairman of the NDC few weeks ago.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The National Chairman himself is a staunch member and an elder of the Church of Pentecost.

In his remarks Hon Samuel Ofosu Ampofo reiterated his committed in the word of God as well as the Church of Pentecost, and also stated that, he will continue to seek guidance and directions from the hierarchy of the church in order to lead the NDC to a successful four year tenure as National Chairman. He again expressed gratitude to the Pentecost Church for granting the NDC access to use its modernized and glamorous facility at Gomoa Fetteh Millennium city during the Congress which saw the elections of the women’s and youth wings of the party couple weeks ago.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The national Chairman also avowed to the gathering that through that singular gesture by the church, many of his party members are beginning to accepts and also appreciate the doctrines and activities of the Pentecost church. A development he aver is a monumental feet chalked by the church.

Meanwhile, the National Chairman of the Church of Pentecost Apostle Eric Nyamekye together with the General Secretary Apostle Alexander Nana Yaw Kumi – Larbi use the august visit to admonish Christians from all walks of life, to emulate the decency, and meekness by which Hon. Samuel Ofosu Ampofo epitomize and further ask that God grant the National Chairman for the NDC heavenly wisdom and protection as he occupies the topmost office within the political set up of the party.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Apostle Eric Nyamekye similarly noted that Christians like any other faith base religious persons must endeavor to possess the land of the flesh in order to avert and curtail the moral decadence and ills in the society, and opine that Hon. Samuel Ofosu Ampofo is a classical example endowed with such descriptive acumen.
