‘NDC would win by 52.4%’ – Ben Ephson

With some few hours to the official declaration by the EC on the outcome of the 2016 general elections, the editor of the Daily Dispatch newspaper and pollster Ben Ephson is trending on twitter over a prediction he made about the elections. His findings predicted a one-touch victory for President John Dramani Mahama stating that he would garner 52.4% of the votes while his main opposition Akuffo Addo would make a 45.9%.

Some Ghanaian’s took to twitter to express their thoughts over his so-called ‘polls’. But in his reaction when speaking on Ghone television early this Friday morning, he affirms that his predictions are still right and he therefore stands by it.

But added that it will only be fair for the general public to wait for the official declaration by the electoral commission (EC) and not rely on some media reports of provisional results being speculated to project the NPP candidate Nana Akufo Addo as the winner of this years polls.
