NDC is uniquely different- Akamba

The deputy national organizer for the largest opposition party, National Democratic Congress (NDC) , Capt (retired) Joshua Akamba has stated that the party was established for the common citizenry who are devoted for the course and ideology upon which it was formed.

According to him the founder of the party former president, Jerry John Rawlings established the party for all, not specific class of people, emphasizing the difference between the NDC and other political parties in the country.

Speaking in an interview with Ebenezer Opoku Alooke on Ahotor 92.3FM’s political show, “Oman beye yie” he opined that during Rawlings regime he called on every Ghanaian to come together in the drafting of the Constitution of Ghana, not segregating.

Though the New patriotic party (NPP) the ruling party never took part in drafting the constitution,  they use it in the governing of the same people they looked down on during the framing up of it and even persuade the very same class of people to vote for them during their campaigns. He fumed.

The NDC celebrated it’s 25th anniversary with the theme, “Mirroring the past into the future”,which had the opportunity to bring together current and past executives ,founding fathers, members etc.

Akamba, emphasized that the success of Ghana has been possible because of the prudent and successful governance process of NDC.
