The former head of National Security and Narcotic Control Board, Mr. Kofi Bentum Quantson has stated that most politicians in Ghana are opportunistic in their action.
In a conversation on Ahotor FM’s talk show Heroes of Our Time hosted by Akyena Brantuo , Mr. Quantson emphasized that the pillars of any development in the country are integrity and honesty and that no country can move on successfully without these virtues.
“There is no integrity in our lives, just a few have this virtue, most of us are opportunist and will concentrate on only what they can gain as people, as most people say stomach politicians”
“We only emphasis on what we will gain as individually and build for ourselves houses, that is why most people want to be parliamentarians”, He stated.
Mr.Quantson , made it clear that any country that lacks integrity and honesty will lack in development.
He advised the citizenry to have love for their country and eschew all forms of corruption and dishonesty.
