Suspects arrested on charges of murder of the late Military officer, Major Maxwell Adam Mahama will reappear in court today for the commencement of committal proceedings to begin.
At the last court sitting, the accused persons were remanded in Police custody for investigations to continue.
At least 16 suspects out of the 52 were put before an Accra High Court. They include a nursing mother whose child has been given to a police officer to take care of.
The military officer was murdered while on national assignment at Denkyira-Obuasi in the Central Region.
He was killed by the residents because he was mistaken for an armed robber after he was spotted with a weapon.
The action by the residents has been condemned with a renewed preparedness by the country to end all forms of mob justice.
President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has promised to ensure the prosecution of persons who are found guilty in the murder of Major Mahama.
