Elder Kwasi Mireku 40th Anniversary Launch

At a ceremony dubbed ‘ 40 YEARS OF INSPIRATION’ held in MJ Grand Hotel at East Lagon to celebrate Ghana’s gospel music legend Elder Kwasi Mireku for his tremendous role in the gospel music industry and servitude as an Elder of the church of Pentecost Ghana, many great personalities were in attendance to support the living legend.
 Elder Kwasi Mireku is one of the finest gospel musicians in Ghana and has over the years inspired and mentored a lot of people both in the body of Christ and as a veteran musician.
Elder Kwasi Mireku has an avalanche of albums to his credit and through his music he’s transformed and touched many lives across the world.
Speaking at the function, the vice chairman of the national Democratic Congress Hon. Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo, who is also an elder of the church , eulogizes the instrumental music icon who according to him is  a friend and a brother.
Hon. Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo reminisced his numerous interactions with Elder  Kwasi Mireku  in their youthful days and according to him, he and  Elder Kwasi Mireku have been friends for over 30 years now and he was the  professional photographer at Elder Kwasi Mireku’s wedding grounds.
He further asserted that Elder Kwasi Mireku is a living legend who has imparted and transformed many lives through his inspirational music and  humility. He therefore called on Ghanaians to celebrate him while alive, “we should cerebrate this man now that he is alive, its unfortunate we Ghanaians in particular do not cerebrate our heroes and legends while alive but after their death”
Hon. Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo startled many at the program as he took the microphone and sung one of Elder Kwasi Mireku’s song with a beautiful and soul inspiring melodious voice.
The occasion was graced by famous and known gospel music gurus and divas  including Uncle Ato, Ohemaa Mercy, Rev Mensah Osei Bonsu and, Rev. Mary Ghansah and many more.
