The maiden edition of Ahotor FM’s mentorship program, ‘Heroes of our Time’ for 2018 was as entertaining, interactive and inspirational with its host, Akyena Brantuo Benjamin.
Lawyer Francis-Xavier Sosu, a Human Rights and Public Interest Lawyer and founder of F-X chambers, was at his very best, drawing useful lessons from his rather broken and shattered beginning in life, which took the power and grace of God, the benevolence of others and a never surrounding attitude on his part, to straightened, strengthened and brightened.

- For every spermatozoa, it takes the most successful and forceful sperm to fertilize the ovary. In effect, from birth, every man has an inherent winning spirit. And once we can develop this winning spirit we can win all the times.
- This winning spirit is a fighting spirit because it takes some fight for that single sperm to fertilize the egg.
- Every individual needs the right environment and encouragement in order to develop this fighting spirit.
- Regardless of your temperament, your personality, and where you’ve been born, God has placed a special ability in you.
- You will always be a winner if you can develop these abilities.
- Most people couldn’t win in life because they can’t discover their abilities. Unless you discover your abilities, you will never be able to win in life.
- Knowledge of what you have, especially of your abilities, is what liberates you.
- My mother was a victim of trokosi and my dad an alcoholic, I was eight years when I started nursery and they use to laugh at me: “day nursery papa, day nursery papa” and I used to hawk. All these have contributed to an inferiority complex until I have finally discovered my abilities.
- If we can complain less on the weaknesses of children and instead, reinforced their positives with words and gifts, their negativities, inferiority complex and low self-image will be reduced.
- In the midst of any difficult situation, you have the choice to decide to win.
- When you succeed, everybody wants to associate with you.
- Even though we all can’t exhibit the same level of resilience, every person has the power to say YES or NO
- Our choices determine our end.
- Everybody who chooses failure has an easier life.
- Anyone who wants things easily, is hasty about success and doesn’t want to go through any difficulty is preparing himself to fail in life.
- The path of success is a very difficult one.
- Choosing to be successful is never a pleasant choice.
- Womanizing, alcoholism, laziness are things that destroy life.
- God always reveals His glory at the most difficult times.
- When God intends using you for something great, he takes you through different difficulties in order to prepare you.
- People can be in church and be homeless.
- You cannot bring anybody down that God has lifted up.
- The one, whom through men has become successful, becomes slaves to men; but the man whom God himself has lifted up can never be touched by any man.
- Anyone who admires me should not look up to me but should look up to Jesus and they will appreciate what the Lord can be able to do with people.
- I am very confident that the future is bright because of God, and I want to encourage you, that regardless of the difficulties you might be going through, look up to God know, it’s not over with your life yet
