JM comeback causes ‘Verbal Diarrhea’ in NPP as Party vows to challenge him in Court- STRANEK boss

The executive secretary of a known Policy think tank; Strategic Thinkers Network – Africa, Gideon Nii Tettey Tetteh, has taken a swipe at the leadership and supporters of the New Patriotic Party for trolling Former President John Drammani Mahama for subtly hinting on his intention to file to contest in the impending National Democratic Congress’ flagbearership race of the party ahead of the 2020 national electoral contest in the country.

The elucidative and analytical executive secretary of STRANEK, Gideon Tetteh Tettey downplayed assertions by some leading members of the NPP to the effect that, former President John Mahama, is unfit to stage a comeback to contest in any future elections in Ghana, after the NDC’s humiliating defeat during the 2016 general elections.

He chided the Akufo-Addo government for wasting man hours and engaging in skewed media discourses when issues news emerged about possible return to political limelight and frontline leading role resurfaced within the week of John Mahama and questioned why the government will spend resources and energy aimed to thwart the efforts by the former President as they want Ghanaians to appreciate

Gideon Tettey chronicled an avalanche of promises that the NPP and President Akufo-Addo made to Ghanaians prior to the elections in 2016 which the party have since reneged in fulfilling those deliverables to the electorates.

He further stressed that, one major issue which gained prominent in 2016 was the restoration of the nurses and teacher’s allowances which President Akufo-Addo claimed had been restored but credible and available information shows that, there is nothing concrete and cogent to attest to the much touted restoration of the allowances.

The STRANEK boss reiterated again that, economic growth rate to Gross Domestic Products (GDP) is nothing to write home and the facts and indicators leaves much to be desire. He also sounded very pessimistic that the robust nature of the major trading currency in Ghana has assumed stagnation against other trading currencies on the global stock market.

He contended that several major businesses have either fold up or collapsed and Investor confidence he explained has dwindled leaving a lot of foreigners at the peril of their lives for survival.

Similarly, he posited that, the Akufo-Addo’s government should provide a profile of the three hundred and fifty (350) Senior High School Classrooms block ( E- blocks) they promised to established if they assumed power. He lambasted the Akufo administration for turning a blind eye on these documented promises and pretending as if they do not have any social contract with the good people of Ghana.

He avowed that, the government after spending some sixteen months in office should furnished the masses with fine details about the proposed E- blocks. Since the then director of communications for the New Patriotic Party, Nana Akomea made an emphatic pronouncement on a sister radio that, the Akufo-Addo administration, and the new NPP government would built (350) E- blocks for free senior high school but have not seen the day of light.

He subsequently queried why the Akufo-Addo’s administration, has not been able to alleviate the hardships that have befallen the motoring and commuting public.

Asserting that, fuel prices have reached an astronomical crescendo, sparking a lot of controversies amongst drivers and passengers in the country.

He aver that the Akufo-Addo’s government pledged to “put money” in drivers pocket has become only a mirage and deceit.

He fumed furthermore that, the driving motorists spent a whopping amount of money at the pumps to fetch fuel at filling stations, contrary to the reductions in petroleum price mantra by the government during the last elections.

He jibed the government for hoodwinking Ghanaians for their votes and neglecting them for their own parochial interest and aggrandizement.

Schooling the government on the number of financial malfeasance and issues of  corruption which have marred the administration of President Akufo-Addo.

Gideon Tetteh revealed frankly that, the Akufo-Addo’s government is worst of when it comes to brazen corrupt practices which have been unleashed on   Ghanaians by the current administration.

He hinted the government has lost the 2020 general elections in advance and further call for sober reflections by stalwarts in the NPP and implored them to be assertive with Ghanaians.

When the news unearthed about the former President’s hint of contesting the flagbearership position of the NDC, there has since been a barrage of mixed reactions to that effect with many sympathizers, supporters, and fanatics of the NDC expressing delights and ecstasy.

The move according to the STRANEK scribe was long overdue and expected since recent happenings in Ghana requires a tough minded leader with good economic acumen to turn the fortunes of the country to  new prospects with good and substantial standard of living.

The executive secretary of STRANEK stated categorically on “OmanYi Mu Nsem” morning show on Ahotor fm on Monday 21/5/2018″ that, the Akufo-Addo government ought to exhibit  lot of forthrightness and openness with Ghanaians and desist from engaging in Parroting Propaganda and similarly jabbed the government to salvage its sinking image from total disrepute in both locally and internationally.

In regards to the imminent suit by sections of NPP apparatchiks against the candidature of John Drammani Mahama, in the event that he decides to laced his boots for the presidential race in the NDC.

The executive secretary of the Think Tank is of the view that, the  party ( NPP) lacks the moral grounds and legal jurisdiction to summoned or haul the former President before any court for legal  adjudication.

The wild jubilation by supporters of the former President has send shivers and goose bumps into the camp of the New Patriotic Party, with many attacking the personality of the former President through the use of belligerent and livid nauseating commentaries, designed to make him unpopular, and scuttle his ambition in his bid to return to front line Politics in the country.

But the camp of former president Mahama has however revealed that they are unperturbed by and unfazed by incessant machinations and vile propaganda orchestrated against Mr. John Mahama.

The Strategic Thinkers Network – Africa (STRANEK) is currently undertaken an evaluation to profile synopsis of infrastructural indicators which have been earmarked and   promised by the NPP prior to the 2016 Polls.

The Think Tank also retorts that, such audits will afford Ghanaians the opportunity to run by themselves with glaring and evidence based spectacle of supposed completed Projects initiated by the Nana Addo government.

He again schooled that, public accountability has become the bedrock and beacon of 21st century democratic frontiers.
