Ignore bomb threats at ‘Number 12’ premiering – Tiger Eye PI assures

Tiger Eye PI says the public should ignore rumours of bomb scares at the intended venues for the premiering of the latest documentary on corruption in football and politics, by Anas Aremeyaw Anas.

The reports, according to Tiger Eye PI, “could only amount to a figment of the imaginations of the wicked and corrupt persons, who are bent on ensuring that either the film is not shown to Ghanaians or that the events are not attended by the good people of Ghana, in whose interest Tiger Eye PI and Anas have over the years braced the storm, to blow the lid off corrupt practices”.

It is in the light of this that the Tiger Eye PI want Ghanaians to ignore these rumours and treat them as one of the many wicked attempts purposed at scaring people away from the shows across the nation, Tiger Eye PI observed.

“We want to assure the public that, we are not naive of the need for the needed security arrangements for such events. This is because we have been in this practice for a considerable number of years,” it assured.

It added: “There will be enough security, even more than the number detailed over the years for previous premiering events, especially so, considering the countless number of controversies that have surrounded this particular expose”.

The team has been very pragmatic in ensuring that, the “Number 12” is premiered without hitches, and this we are keen on achieving without fear or favour,” it added.

With the support of the Ghana Police Service, both plain clothed and uniformed personnel would be deployed, alongside those to be deployed by other para-security agencies to ensure security of patrons in and around the Accra International Conference Center on June 6 and 7 for the premiering.

Similar arrangements have been made for the Kumasi, Tamale and Takoradi events as well.

“People running around with that information should be ignored since there would be enough security provided at the event and no bomb would be there,” Tiger Eye team assured.
