I will support the Police with prayers – Kumchacha

Founder and Leader of the Heavens Gate Ministries, Rev Nicholas Osei popularly known as Kumchacha has commended the Ghana police service for the prayer session put in place for the safety and Divine protection of its personnel.

He also stated that he will support the Ghana police with prayers.  According to him, there is power in prayers and if the police decide to constantly embark on such exercise, it will keep them the rampant killings and other misfortune that besets them.

Speaking on Ahotor FM’s morning show host, Onantefour Addae Mununkum, Kumchacha made it clear that things happening in the country especially the Ghana police service are disturbing and it is only prayer that can solve it.

“I am happy the police service has come up with such initiative, we will support them with prayers and I believe things will turn better not only in the police service but in the country as well”

“I also think the government should also put things in other to help protect the police. Prayers work but I believe pragmatic steps should be taken by the police leadership and the government” He stated.

In a statement sighted by ahotoronline.com, there will be prayers held for police personnel at police churches nationwide on Sunday, February 4, 2018, in the wake of the killing of an officer.

The prayers are to call for “safety and divine protection” of all police, according to an invitation letter from the Religious Directorate of the Service.

“This has become very necessary and imperative considering the recent spate of adversarial killings of service officers. It behooves upon us as the clergy of the Service to beseech the divine protection for all serving officers” the statement said.
