‘I can’t recognize Anas & his boys in any of the circulated images’ – Baako lampoons Ken

Editor-in-chief of the New Crusading Guide, Abdul Malik Kweku Baako says numerous utterances and accusations been made by Assin Central MP Kennedy Agyapong against ace investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas are all “untrue” and doesn’t “depict NPP” thoughts.

“Kennedy’s accusations and attacks isn’t anything new. I don’t know his motive for circulating acclaimed pictures of Anas and his boys. I have seen some and I can’t recognize Anas and any of his boys in the pictures.”

“I sincerely believe at this stage that Kennedy Agyapong is not speaking for his party [NPP]. This is him talking and not the party’s view.” He said on Peace FM’s flagship morning show Kokrokoo.

According to the veteran journalist, Anas is not “corrupt, evil and wicked” as purported by the NPP lawmaker and also indicated that “Anas is not fraud and not engaging in any fraudulent act in the country.”

The outspoken MP, earlier this week, described how investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas goes about his investigative works in very unpalatable words.

While discussing the latest and yet-to-be-released work of the Tiger Eye PI, the maverick politician took pains to lay bare the methods employed by Anas, describing them as unethical and unlawful.

Agyapong has alleged that investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas took money to spike a scandalous investigative piece involving some persons close to Mr John Mahama in Dubai during the erstwhile Mahama administration.

But Abdul Malik Kweku Baako emphatically told host of Peace FM’s morning show Kwami Sefa Kayi that, “There is no such video. Anas has done nothing of that sort”.
